Learning Inclusion Networking X-cellence
What we are looking for:
What is a support home? They are just regular people who would be interested in having someone with a developmental disability live with them. The level of independence varies client to client (some need regular supervision; some are fairly independent and transitioning into their own homes one day).
- A support home in the immediate Leduc area without children. Preferably with some behavioural experience. There is a support team around the behaviour plans. We are willing to train. This individual attends a day program during the day. This individual has respite attached to their contract. The successful candidate would be required to take client to any appointments
- A support home in the immediate Leduc area for an individual that would require some assistance with an illiostomy (this is similar to a colostomy). This individual attends a day program during the day. This individual has respite attached to their contract. Some behaviours, however there are plans that go with any behaviours as well as support from a team surrounding the behaviours.
If you are interested, or know someone who would be, please contact Residential Manager Ronni Deleavey at 780-980-9423, ext 225, or linxres@linxconnect.ca.
